Friends, my dad was admitted yesterday for a serious infection and underwent surgery late last night to remove a 4 inch abscess. One unfortunate side affect of this infection is that his heart is under tremendous strain. Tomorrow they will be performing a test via scope too check for blood clots. If none are present, he will undergo a paddle treatment to shock his heart back to a normal rhythm. Understandably he is nervous and down. He is also missing the holidays. Its very hard for me to be so far away when all this is happening. Say a prayer for his health and morale and that these procedures would go smoothly and quickly, if you would... He specifically asked for prayers when I just spoke to him.
