From 11:30-1:30 we will be featuring tomato-themed cooking demos at the Farmers Market Tomato Festival on Friday July 25. We are so excited to have Chef Rachel Weston, a local food writer, culinary instructor, and founding chef at The Better World Cafe. She will be using ingredients from our Farmers Market vendors to whip up dishes inspired by the flavors of Spain, India, Italy and Japan. Menu: * Smoky Watermelon Gazpacho * Shiro Miso dressed heirloom tomatoes * Tomato, Peach, Cheese and Herb Salad * Panzanella Salad with crusty bread * Tomato Chaat (tomato, ginger and chiles with toasted seeds and chat masala) Be sure to come by the Tomato Festival on your lunch hour for these great tastings, tips and recipes!
