(From Aunt Shawn) Dear Team Stepping Up For Pep, Things we’ve learned from our journey with Steph...there’s no “I” or “you” in TEAM. What there is though is lots of “we” and “us.” What began as one beautiful, incredibly kind hearted young girl’s battle with cancer continues as a true team journey. We are humbled by the kindness and generosity of so very many people. It was amazing to see all of you surrounding Steph with love on Sunday. She feels it every day and that love lifts her up and gives her strength. We’re so very thankful for that. A few more amazing moments happened on Sunday that you may or may not be aware of so we thought we would share a couple other warrior stories. Walking with us were two young men that are also battling cancer, Logan, who is also battling a GBM and Antonio, who is battling Ewings Sarcoma. When we say walking with us, we truly mean walking with us. These two amazing young men walked the entire course with us - not an easy feat when they’re in the midst of treatment. Just one more wow factor in this journey we’re traveling. Logan and Antonio mean so very much to Steph and have been an inspiration to all of us as well.
