From Caring Bridge: May 14 By Katherine Wingate — 11 minutes ago Psalm 28:7 Kent is moving and opening his eyes, but not directly to commands yet, but he almost there. The nurse is so pleased. He had his arm redressed his morning and will have the leg set tomorrow in surgery. Hopefully the facial team will agree to take him then as well. My brother Bill is with me again today since he is able to fly into Memphis with FedEx. I return home tonight via USAir and will drive back on Friday. I will need to take care of banking which I have never done so pray for me that I will be able to figure this out. We have been surrounded and uplifted by your prayers, your calls, your comments, your offers to help. Thank you so much for being a truly caring and praying circle of friends. We are so BLESSED! Rain moved into the Memphis area last night and the temperature cooled down such that we could open the windows. I remember hearing the raindrops against the house throughout the night as I drifted in and out of sleep. At some point I sensed someone entering my bedroom and covering me with a blanket and tucking me in, just like I remember being tucked in as a little girl. It was so comforting and warm. When I awoke this morning I looked at my bed covers to see if there was indeed a blanket thrown over me since the feeling had been so real. Nope. Just the covers I went to bed with. Another wonderful gift of comfort from a gracious Lord who promises comfort in times of need. His presence is tangible
