From Chi-Chi Nnani.... Some guys are just walking pre-nup alerts. The only man that a right-thinking woman should even consider giving all her money to, is her SON. And even that, depends on the age of the son in question. Ladies, BEWARE of all those dudes who insist on joint accounts - especially when you have not even married them. That is not how to be one. If you are with a BOY who has the unmitigated gall to say, Without joint account, there is no marriage - leave his sorry behind. And find the nearest church for Thanksgiving Service. Because God has saved you from from one chance. I dont care if it worked for your pastor & his wife, 35 years ago. There werent that many ingenious ways to rob people you were married to, back then. Yes, because some of these shameless thieves are in church today. They are vibrating while speaking tongues, singing in the choir and making everyone see angels. Note that I have not said I have a problem with joint accounts per se. I have issues with anyone (male or female) being bullied into opening one. You dont open a joint account to prove that you are a submissive wife, or to prove that you trust a man. I have issues with a woman putting ALL her money into any joint account. Apart from the fact that it amounts to a case study in foolishness, it never ends well - for the woman.
