From Chief Keith Monahan KARK: The potential for severe weather - TopicsExpress

From Chief Keith Monahan KARK: The potential for severe weather appears to be increasing for Arkansas on Sunday. Conditions are expected to be very favorable for rotating, supercell thunderstorms which will be capable of producing very large hail, tornadoes and damaging winds. It appears the activity will develop in eastern Oklahoma and northeast Texas Sunday afternoon and spread east northeast into westeren Arkansas by mid afternoon and into central Arkansas by evening and finally inito eastern Arkansas by Midnight. However, there is a small possibility that clouds and general showers/TStorms could be over parts of the state early Sunday which would limit instability and lessen the threat somewhat (lets hope thats the case). Additional severe thunderstorms are possible again Monday, with all modes of severe weather possible, as the cold front finally pushes through Arkansas. Take the time before Sunday to be sure your weather radio is working properly and any apps you may have for your smart phones are up to date. Meteorologist Pat Walker WX will keep you updated Saturday at 6pm and 10pm. Lets hope its not as significant as it looks like it could be at this point but lets also be prepared as well
