From Darnell L. Moore: I honestly wish I had some comforting, poetic shit to say, but I have none. Im done. In fact, I think the system has spoken loudly enough. Now, what are we gonna do about it? The comfort of iPhones, bank accounts, good jobs, pulled up pants, a Black POTUS, a bunch of White well-meaning friends, the legal system, wont protect us from being choked to death, shot in the head (after having been shot several other times), called it demon thug, made to apologize for being rightfully angry, seen as hyper-violent/aggressive, tear gassed and hit with rubber bullets while protesting, ridiculed and laughed at by politicos/pundits, surveilled on and offline. Injustice is beckoning us to act. Well...so be it.
