From Indian Politics page. Our heartiest greeting to people of Pakistan on the eve of their independence day. When the twin brothers of India and Pakistan were born from the same womb of British India, nobody could imagined India will rise to the glory of the past in science, technology and economy while Pakistan will be tottering for its basic existence hammered by ethnic and religious conflicts. Fact that despite illiteracy and hunger, India succeeded to gain respect of the world while Pakistan failed miserably is not something to be rejoiced by the Indians. Pakistan is like our brother and their failure is not a matter to celebrate but to worry because most of the terrorist acts in India have been conducted by Pakistanis due its political instability and lack of progress towards democracy.Pakistan has to understand, as a country they need democracy, science and technology. They need to adopt to secularism as a state practice. They need to embrace science and technology instead of hatred against India and non-Muslims. Hatred is neither the teaching of any religion, nor it can bring practical benefit to anybody as Buddha put it mildly-"Hatred is like a burning charcoal in your hand which can only burn your hand and nothing else. This Buddhist wisdom is the true story of Pakistan." Therefore, it is the time for them to recognize a new politics based on aspiration of young Pakistanis have to be adopted which will be for democracy, secularism and scientific mind. Pakistani people are immensely talented. Issue is, that talent has been misused in terrorism due to bad direction of the country.
