Scott Lincoln, a hydrologist with NOAA: Attention anyone who may have collected rainfall data during the recent storm in the northwest Florida area... we are interested in your data to help analyze the event. Information from the following sources would be helpful: 1) A home weather station that may have recorded rainfall data on an hourly basis (or even more frequently) 2) A simple plastic rain gauge that measured rainfall from the storm 3) A bucket (with vertical sides) that was empty before the storm but captured rain water Please either send me a message or email me directly ([email protected]). This information is very helpful and important to understanding this event, which can help us understand flash floods in the future.
