From MaxPreps Texas Top 25 high school football rankings: Allen Eagles defense will get a test from Plano West running back Soso Jamobo with District 6-6A title at stake. That defense will get a huge test on Friday when it faces Plano West running back Soso Jamabo. With 1,711 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns in eight games, the 6-foot-2, 206-pound senior has separated himself from other top running backs in North Texas. Jamabo, who remains uncommitted to dozens of college suitors, has helped Plano West to seven wins in eight games, the only loss coming to rival Plano by three points. Allen (8-0) owns a 35-game winning streak, dating back to midseason of 2012. The Eagles, despite returning only one defensive starter, are 6-0 in District 6-6A. Eagles opponents are averaging 196 rushing yards per game. In winning state titles in Class 5A Division I the last two seasons, Allen held opponents to an average of 148 rushing yards. Plano West is 5-1 in district play. The Wolves defense will be challenged by Allen quarterback Kyler Murray, who has thrown for 7,894 career yards and 87 touchdowns.
