From The Heart: Today I am sharing several circumstances that could have changed an outcome or situation in our lives! I want to introduce you to that Still Small Voice Inside You Thursday my daughter placed her dog in an indoor kennel without clipping a safety latch around the door. Her inner voice kept telling her she needed to drop our precious Ernie off at our house. She was busy helping her boyfriend pack car to move back into college dorms. That inner voice was warning her...take Ernie to mom and dads house! Unfortunately, Ernie was tragically killed by getting out of kennel, someone left back door open and he was attacked by other dogs. Same day now myself: I just finished square baling, parked machine by house, and still small voice kept telling me to put it back in the barn so it does not get wet and rusty. I was busy, did not do it, thought, nah its not going to rain...it rained two inches and soaked my equipment with hay in it, wire etc. ugh!! Hence unnecessary rust and corrosion on a very expensive critical piece of equipment I count on year after year! Yesterday running parts, me again: I had the strongest urge to run by a dear friends house who has had not one but two tragedies in their life recently. I was busy, my wife was home not feeling well, I was in a hurry. All the voice was saying was swing by, tell them you love them dearly, no hand shake but a big ole bear hug and just listen and let them vent or talk. I dont know what my friend was going through yesterday...but again I screwed up. I dropped the ball. I missed an opportunity to share Gods love with someone near and dear to my family! For that I say I am sorry. I screwed up. Forgive me. God heard you, heard your cries, I, me screwed up, not God. I may have said the perfect thing they were looking for for the comfort they were seeking??? So I am telling you: All of you who follow anything I say! Please listen to that still small inner voice inside you. Listen to the urges, they are trying to guide and protect you! Please listen! Please Act! Please change your life! Please change the life of someone else today! It is so important!
