From a Warrior Mom~ Angela Hanks Coble My son came home for Thanksgiving and it was a disaster. I havent seen him in a year. 1) He has PTSD bad and it is very evident. He will not seek medical or psychiatric treatment for it. All he does is drink. 2) I am a recovering addict myself and he kept drinking in front of me and trying to talk me into drinking. 3) He is not the young mad I knew 6 years ago. He use to be a mammas boy....hugging on me, giving me kisses in front of anyone....now he is a drinking, smoking, cussing, disrespectful, argumentative man that I barely recognize. It rips my heart out seeing him this way. Our visit for Thanksgiving was so stressful and that was the last time I get to see him before he deploys again. This is not how I want to remember him.
