From a beautiful breastfeeding mama... My 10 day old EBF son decided to stop latching on this morning at 4am. After what seemed like hundreds of attempts to get him to latch and nurse and hours of endless crying/screaming, I defrosted some breast milk I had frozen and gave him his first bottle which he devoured. I continued to attempt to nurse him throughout the day and he continues to not latch. I brought him to his doctor and was told to feed him pumped milk in a bottle for a couple of days and return to the doctor if he continues to not latch. I feel like if I continue to give him a bottle, his chances of relatching will decrease. Anyone have a similar experience or advice?
