From a vet friend of mine: Today is not Veterans Day. It is Memorial Day. Memorial Day is when we remember those who served who never got to become Veterans. Its not a happy day. Its not a day to thank those of us who did come home for our service. It is a day set aside to remember the fallen. RIP.
