From a wise Friend... Sounds like McConnell uses his leadership role to stifle any and all opposition to the small gang of Republicans taking the party down the sewer. Add to this the spoiled brat antics of John Homes trying to be a player by running to the NYT, McConnell is either running a keystone cop cabal or running interference for the Obama regime. All the more reason to give Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and maybe Rand Paul standing os for going against a leadership that has grossly neglected to mentor or nurture anyone else that thinks outside of the Beltway. One now has to think twice about how Marco Rubio became a man-in-the-middle: McConnell and Co. get caught being ugly. Will be curious to see how many defect from him, just as democrats cant run away from Obama fast enough.
