From a wonderful kind soul who wrote to us, and is going through her own battle. Just had to share this... Good morning, First let me start by saying that I didnt know Adrienne. Her Memories page actually showed up in my news feed one day, at which point I realized we shared a mutual friend. I really just felt like I wanted to reach out and say that Adrienne sounded like she was truly a remarkable human being. Her story has really touched me without having even known her. Although Im a complete stranger I found myself compelled to read about this young, beautiful woman, who happens to be the same age as me who lost her battle to Cancer. How simply tragic this was I thought as I learned Adrienne was a Veterinarian and had her whole career ahead of her. (I have always believed anyone who is a true lover of animals, is a special kind of person) I lost my Father 6 years ago to Bladder Cancer and my Mother is currently battling Stage 3 Lung Cancer. I have learned that life is certainly unfair. I have learned that Cancer is horrible, relentless and doesnt care who, how old you are or where you come from. It just simply sucks. Im sure nobody feels that more than you and your family at this time. Adrienne was very courageous and inspiring, that much is certainly evident. I hope you dont think this message is strange, I just really wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I would say that my writing to you is a true testament of the power and good that social media can bring to anyone, seemingly by accident. Bless all of you, and may you find strength in the coming days, months and years and be proud of the Daughter, Sister and amazing woman Adrienne was. I will take Adriennes inspiration along with me as I help my own Mother and know, that in someway, we are all connected and have the ability to help complete strangers even when we dont know it.
