From all the sports clips starting to clog social media now, its safe to assume these new video games encourage and make it all too easy for you to post your highlights on social media. Dont anybody get butt hurt over this, but scoring a 60 yard touchdown pass or pulling off a 360 dunk in a video game is neither a sports highlight nor an impressive athletic feat. Its one thing to post your favorite highlights from an actual football game; real highlights are special because they dont happen often and, when they do, they are done by truly talented (or lucky) athletes in real games. But lets not start clogging up social media with sports highlights that didnt actually happen. We all understand that video games make you feel like a bad ass without actually being a bad ass, which is why we play them. All good fun. But dont let it go to your head. Youre not a bad ass. You are not Blake Griffin. Youre a guy on a couch who is good at stringing together button combinations on a controller.
