From an e-mail I received today. I am sharing this because I feel it is important to know when a candidate is spreading lies. Johnson needs to be called out. District 4, Vote for Laura Pastor! "You may have heard the lies being pushed by developer Justin Johnson that Laura has failed to attend meetings for the committees she was appointed to – the Transportation Advisory Board and the Encanto Village Planning Committee. Today the Arizona Republic confirmed that these allegations are completely unfounded, giving Justin a FALSE rating. Now that his lies have been exposed, we hope Justin Johnson will stop these unfounded attacks and run the honest campaign that District 4 voters deserve. The truth is that Laura has a long record of service to our community, both through her work on these committees as well as on the Phoenix Union High School Board. Laura is the only candidate dedicated to protecting our public safety and preserving our neighborhoods. In direct contrast, developer Justin Johnson has voted against neighborhood interests on the Phoenix Planning Commission and for the interests of the high-powered developers bankrolling his campaign.
