From my cousin: WARNING!!!! DO NOT TAKE ANY ANIMALS TO THE MS ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE. IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANIMALS AT ALL, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AN ANIMAL AROUND YOUR HOME. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!! THIS IS A HORRIBLE SHELTER. There were six adorable kittens staying outside a mans apartment in Oakbrook Apartments. The reason they could not be brought inside was because the mother cat was feral. They were eating food, and I was supposed to go pick them up yesterday evening or today and bring them to the Hardware Store to find them homes. They were very loving and sweet. They had been wormed and treated for fleas. EVERY NEIGHBOR KNEW THEY WERE LEAVING LAST NIGHT OR TODAY! One evil man waited until he knew the animal rescue league would be closed to the public and called animal control. Animal Control came and took the kittens, and didnt even knock on the mans door where all the food, water, and kitten toys were to ask or tell him they were being taken. They took them to theMississippi Animal Rescue League, and all six loving kittens were euthanized within 3 hours. As soon as the man taking care of them noticed they were gone, he contacted Jessica Erin Eubanks, who also contacted me, and we started calling everywhere to try to find them. We had hope that they may have waited at least 24 hours to see if someone would claim them or at least until they were open at 10am this morning, but no. They killed those innocent kittens with no remorse and no regrets. Let me reiterate that all six kitten could have found homes. They were not wild, they were tame. They had been played with and worked with every single day. This shelter should find a new name for itself. I could come up with a few. If you like this shelter on Facebook, please go unlike them. Please do not promote them as the loving shelter they pretend to be. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY ANIMALS THERE! PLEASE SHARE THIS AND SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT WHAT A HORRIBLE PLACE THIS SHELTER IS!!!! If they would have only let us get in touch with someone in the shelter or let us come get those kittens at 10:00am on the dot this morning, all six of those beautiful kittens would be finding loving wonderful homes this week. Instead they are all dead.
