From my friend Charlie, a former co-worker of mine for an energy technology start up that laid us off the day before the 2008 Election: NC friends - get out and VOTE. Early voting runs through this week, Saturday November 1st. Pay particular attention to the non-partisan judicial races - the Koch-topus is trying to take over the judiciary in multiple states this year and we have a big target on our backs here. I witnessed first hand yesterday while poll greeting for early voting, a GOP poll greeter calling attention to their conservative judges as voters grabbed their slate card. Tell me again how that is non-partisan? Deep rooted ideological conservatism has no place in our court system, and neither does liberalism so to speak. I can tell you those on our NC Democratic slate cards I have met personally or know on good authority these candidates for our NC Supreme Court on down to the Wake County court system will all be fair and bring balance to our state courts.
