From my morning devotion: a good Friday reflection. Jesus willingly chose to live within week, fragile human limitations. Last night he washed feet, was betrayed and arrested. Today he will undergo an unjust trial. He will be handed over to his enemies. He will be beaten, mocked and abused. Today, he will become the wounded healer ,the suffering servant ,the one who would soak up sin and death into himself to set us free from The darkness and bring us into the light. He became obedient unto death even death on the cross. He forgave us and he prayed for us even as he was dying. Ever doubt how much God loves you? There is no need to doubt any longer.
