From my understanding of the wordings of the recent controversial bill making waves at the moment, if passed into law(which takes more than the Senate to do) will be against persons who propagate FALSE INFORMATION. So, anyone who states the truth (like if I say GEJ is an embarrassing glutton for budgeting N3m per day on food), no matter how injurious it may be to the state, does not run foul of the law. Also, any person who propagates FALSE INFORMATION, which is not capable of inciting the general public against the government (this is where the jury comes in to say what is capable or not capable of inciting the public and to what extent), will equally not be liable. So, we should choose either to say the truth and/or propagate false information that do not threaten the corporate existence of the country, without running foul of the law, or propagate false information that threatens the existence of the state (again to determined by a court) and face the consequences.
