From now to 2015 June,if care is not taken,NDC would lose 2016 elections woefully.The frequent increase in petroleum products will cause more merse.Petroleum products is one of the sensitve commodities of our economy.If this commodity increases,it will have a respective price hike in goods and services.Inflation will shoot up,lorry fares will increase,cost of farming will increase since some of the farm machineries uses fuel.How much does a bag of fertizer cost?Compare it to the previous years.How much does an acre of farm cost when ploughed.Building materials such as cement,ply woods,roofing sheets and many others are sold at higher prices when juxtaposing with the previous prices.Most of our local industries depend largely on this petroleum products to operates.If they do not increase the prices of their product,their profit margin would have to fall below average hence leading it to a shut down.In order not to be affected with this,the consumer have to suffer it.In my candid opinion as a Ghanaian,were people not able to rule,control and regulate our Ghanaian economy better even without oil revenue?Can there not be any way government can generate revenue apart from depending solely on taxes and fuel price hikes?Comrades,things are now becoming out of hands.All the time government complains we are in economic crisis.The only crisis we have is poor standard of living.Can government redeem the situation when petroleum keeps on increasing and salaries remain stagnant?Mahama do something.
