From our ol stomping grounds, Building #11 - The Noonan Building is a three-story rectangular wood framed structure with wooden siding. It was constructed in 1941 on land once owned by Risdon Iron and Locomotive Works (1900-1911). Its mission was to help support Bethlehem Steels destroyer construction program during WW II. As part of the war effort, the building held office space, a tool room and a cafeteria. Today the building is leased to a variety of tenants, many of whom are artists and designers.
