From the Coconino National Forest" Recreation Closures - Update Flagstaff, AZ – Due to a lapse in Federal Government funding, no services or amenities are available at the following recreation sites on the Flagstaff, Mogollon Rim and Red Rock Ranger Districts of the Coconino National Forest. Sales of recreation permits and passes will be suspended for the duration of the funding lapse. Red Rock passes are not required at this time. Recreation Resource Management (RRM) of America sites on the forest are now in the process of closing recreation sites they manage, notifying current campers they have 48 hours to vacate. Undeveloped trailheads will remain open and trail and road use across the forest is not restricted at this time. In addition, all Coconino offices are closed. We will update this list as needed. These services will be available once funding is restored.
