From the FEC on May 19, 2014. As you can see most of the money in politics goes to Democrats led by the PAC ActBlue. The Koch Brothers who are vilified often, appear at no.60 on this list (updated: theyre at no.59 now). So why do Democrats who make more money off of PACs than Republicans make such a big deal about Republican money? Two reasons: one because the Democrats are upset about the fact that the Republicans are getting money at all. Two because the Democrats are playing off the myth that they are the party of the poor and middle class. Funny because Harry Reid who loudly criticized Mitt Romeny for his money is worth $5 million; who said that she is broke, is worth about $18 million. Oh yes because of her Clinton name, Chelsea makes $600,000 on MSNBC appearances when she is invited on to provide political commentary. So are the Democrats really the party of the poor? Are these lists wildly inaccurate or are the Democrats just as or even more rich than the Republicans, lying to their constituents faces?
