From the Legislative Gazette: The New York is Home Act (S.07879/A.10129), sponsored by Sen. Gov. Cuomo cant run away from this issue, Lalor said. His party has introduced legislation in the Assembly and state Senate that would allow illegal immigrants to vote in New York elections, run for state office, and receive Medicaid and other public benefits. The governor cut a deal and is campaigning for Senate Democrats to regain a majority. New Yorkers should know whether he also stands with his fellow Democrats in supporting this extremist legislation. Do you want to let illegal immigrants vote, Gov. Cuomo? You cant stay silent on this.
