From the Pastor’s Desk Rev. Greg Ambrose C. Roasa November 24, 2013 LET THE CHURCH RESPOND Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Thank you very much for your partnership in the ministry. Your prayers were powerful and effective as we have seen great results. Your help in donating cash and clothes with other relief items are truly treasured; and the service you have given in repacking the goods and transporting them. You role in going to where the suffering people are played a very significant impact in their lives - hearing the hope of salvation, healing of the soul - anxiety and fear through debriefing and healing of the body through medical consultation, medicines, tetanus vaccination, cleaning of fresh wounds, and getting of vital signs like blood pressure. The team went to Sara, Iloilo and Batad, Iloilo - the northern part of Iloilo that was badly hit by Yolanda. This is around 100 km away from Iloilo City. After a tiring day, we prepared for another long trip to Badiangan, Banga, Aklan, another 160 km ride. Upon arrival the next day, we conducted another relief and medical mission. Thank God for our host families. May God refresh the Canindo Family and Bing Figurac-Murallon of Iloilo and the Intano family of Banga, Aklan. We are now preparing for the relief operation for Tacloban City. Again...you can Pray - Help -Go. The long journey to recovery is just starting. Please don’t get weary in doing good. God will surely notice your love and care and He will also meet your needs in surprising ways.
