From the Rowan County Arts Center: Make Our New Bike Rack A Work Of Art! Cash prize for the winner As Morehead works on its "Trail Town" certification, the Arts Center has a way to make our town more friendly to our visitors on two wheels. We have a new bike rack and we want to make it a work of art! This is where we need your help. Come up with an idea of how you can make it a masterpiece. We will provide all the materials for the winner to complete the project and there will also be a $100 cash prize. The embellishing must be complete before the Arts & Eats Festival, September 21. Keep in mind the design must be able to endure the elements -- rain, snow, wind, etc. The artist will also be responsible for "touching up" the rack for one year to keep it looking great for our visitors.
