Minugurulu is a movie in which about 40 visually impaired children acted for the first time in Indian movie history, addressing various problems being faced by the visually impaired people in their day to day life. The movie has been selected in seven International Film Festivals including the 18th International Children’s Film Festival of India (Golden Elephant). The movie has an International cast and crew, setting high standards. As for our ambition, this movie will give a new direction to the society to have a fresh, constructive and positive look to solve the problems of the visually impaired. The motto behind the making of this film is to create a congenial atmosphere for a better understanding of the general people about the visually impaired. . Minugurulu has won “BEST INDIAN CINEAMA” in 9th Bengaluru International Children’s Film Festival. . Minugurulu film is selected for 18th International Children’s Film Festival, Hyderabad. The only Telugu film that has ever been selected for competition section. This festival has taken place from November 14th to 20th in Hyderabad. . Minugurulu is officially selected at International Ability Film Festival, Chennai 2013 and six other International Film Festivals We have released the film in January in India, and film has got a very good response.
