Front Page Africa Succumbs …Says it’s willing to dialogue The Management of Front Page Africa and its Managing Editor, Rodney Sieh says it welcomes the willingness of Dr. Chris Toe to reconcile as offered in his press conference on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. FrontPageAfrica also notes with concern and interest, the official statement of the government that the General Auditing Commission (GAC) audits of the former Agriculture Minister and others are not credible. Accordingly, FPA story on Dr. Chris Toe was based on the government’s discredited report from the GAC. Therefore, according to a release under the signature of the Paper’s desk editor, Wade Williams, FPA has requested its legal team and mediation team to meet with Dr. Toe’s mediators in an effort to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, the FPA is appealing to the public and all parties to kindly avoid any utterance comments and actions that might negatively impact the reconciliation process. Mr. Sieh and his Front Page Africa newspapers were found guilty of libel by the Civil Law court of Liberia for character defamation against former Agriculture Minister, Dr. Chris Toe. The Court ruled that Mr. Sieh Pay Dr. Toe the amount of 1.5 million United states, but Mr. Sieh, has earlier threatened not to offer any apology to Dr. Doe. Mr. Sieh was ordered detained at the Monrovia Central Prison for failing to meet up with said amount.
