Fun Friday Joke: Where do we come from? A little girl asked her mother, Where did people come from? Her mother answered, God made Adam and Eve and they had children and thats how all mankind was made. A couple of days later she asked her father the same question. The father answered, Many years ago there were monkeys, which the human race evolved from. The confused little girl returned to her mother and said, Mommy, how is it possible that you told me that we were created by God, and Daddy said we came from monkeys? The mother answered, Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his side. **QUICK REMINDER** -Today at 1:30 members from our congregation are meeting here at the church to leave for a Mission Trip to the Hinton Life Center. Please keep them in your prayers this weekend as they travel, worship, learn and witness Christ to others. -For this month of November we are collecting canned foods and non perishable food items for the Food Bank of Help Ministries in Troutman. These foods will provide many blessings for the neighbors of our community in need! Thank you all in advance for your help; just bring the foods with you on Sunday morning and place them in the amen corner of the sanctuary.
