Fun Radio promo/ interview this morning for the Wellington Armageddon Expo coming up this weekend. Always great to talk about a topic so irreducibly germane to my being and others; and cuts to the essence of many fans and creators alike (i.e., the fact that we live and breathe storytelling and arent ashamed of comics in the bloody slightest)--and we touched upon the growing respect and ubiquity of the artform, the films theyve spawn and continue to spawn, their legacy, history and the ever-evolving iterations of comics; from superhero fare , to my very personal works like Stray Toasters, to showcases like TOME, the human need for tangible works on paper caressed by our fingertips, to the bleeding edge digital brilliance of Madefire and beyond... Comics ...good god how I love them.
