Fun day visiting familiar, yet new from our traveler perspective, hometown places of interest, starting with Mt. Davis, highest point in Pennsylvania, where crazy Josie followed Brett to top of observation tower. Rufie tried to climb, but had to pick him up and because I was afraid to drop him–or both of us—we went back down to have our picture taken instead by the geological marker. Our ride included the beautiful farmlands, an Amish buggy, and cute Amish children playing outside their school, with our last stop at Casselman Bridge. The leaves have not yet reached colorful glory but starting to turn. It was a beautiful, nostalgic day.
