Fun in Development Weeks 5-8 1. Fun in Development has proven so Unfun that Ive been too depressed to update. 2. Was an X-Factor type of judge on national TV. 3. Purse got stolen. 4. Pales in comparison to the colleagues held up at knife point or kidnapped and raped. 5. To avoid this my org suggests that I take precautions though they wont provide the resources for said precautions. 6. They also suggest we dress decently to avoid rape. 7. Made my first get me the eff out of the insane situation Official Complaint. 8. Met the most fascinating man in the world. 9. Have found that the correct response to Hey! White! is actually Hey, Black. Ugh. 10. Probably no more Paris for XMas because terrorism. 11. Have, once again, discovered that yoga can save your life. And postpone the daily chest pains till at least after 12! 12. Will be teaching rural women how to make soap because the NGOs Im with cant get it together enough to help with the important staples. So itll be soap. 13. Went to a training for guinea pig businesses. Huffed out of the building when we were only served guinea pig to eat. Which is hilarious, in hindsight. 14. Ate rice with Bush Rat juice instead. 15. Have discovered that you can, though maybe should not, totally yell curses and insults at full volume at strangers. They wont fight you. But yeah.. probably should not. 16. Keep waiting for the upturn. Fingers crossed!
