Funding for childrens museums is not as commonplace as you think. Due to the fact that we are neither a library or a school, but offer similar services, we qualify for very few resources. It is absolutely crucial that we find multiple streams of revenue to keep our doors open : fundraisers, sponsorships, gifting and special programming are some ways we have managed to stay open while we qualify for more funds. Friends, dont you think our lawmakers and business leaders need to invest in the families and communities of the South Shore? Advocate for us today!
