Funny, but I was at the store and was actually intending to buy this brand (precisely because the label does purposely make it sound so healthy, and it does taste pretty good...) but it was too expensive. Just another way God keeps His Hands on me all day, every day! But really!?! Simply Orange sounds anything BUT simple! More like a science experiment! I would think that people would know that orange juice (especially if its made from actual fresh oranges!) does taste different depending on when the oranges were picked. So...my solution has always been to add a bit of sugar (or in my case artificial sweetener) (yeah, I know...) to make up the difference. Try it! Save money and, as it turns out, you might actually get some nutrition out of the calories you consume for a change! What is it about large American food producers these days? (Which, I should point out is really only ONE food producer, who has all but created a monopoly.) Why the heck would you apparently be trying to poison your customer base? That. America. Is a good question. One we need to think about very carefully. Why is it that procedures and chemical and/or other processing practices the majority of other 1st world countries have banned to be used in food production for their citizens, is common, practice in this Country? Lately, even certain decidedly harmful practices have been actively fought against being banned in this U.S.! I mean, what better way to defeat your enemy who is so much greater in numbers than you, than a sneak attack at the supply line? We are being fed food items that are making us weaker and....lesser...and worse...it appears to be deliberate... We need to wake up America! Buy from the small producer, the farmer if possible. The easiest way to stop these Goliaths is going to be in the wallet. Yes, our wallets too for a while. But, if we support them, I bet there are tons of out-of-work people out there who would love to grow food for a living! Then as there is more competition, the price for the REAL food would become more affordable, allowing for a larger number of small producers to earn a living because the market share of the food being eaten in a community will have been made BY people in that community. And oh, what a wonderful world it would be! I dont know...Im just making this stuff up as I go along... What do you think?
