Funny, but so very true. Social media has replaced many hierarchical social circles. Now we all get to show off only the best parts of our lives. We dont want everyone to see in the cracks so we fill those with sugar and sunshine. Is this lying to oneself or the public? Or is this how we cope with all of the negative around us? Either way, I am happy the have people in my life who have seen the beige, and all of the other colors that do not get posted on Facebook. I had a life before social media exploded, and sometimes I feel as though it has stolen a piece of my identity. As I write this down, I am asking myself for a finite answer to my personal online existence. There isnt one.
