Funny how one interruption can set of a chain reaction of of events that takes an hour chunk out of your work day. Like when the album youre listening to on Spotify is over, so you get up from your drawing table to pick a new one. Then you notice you have a facebook message, which needs to be responded to right away. Then you notice a funny clip on your feed. Then you notice you have an email from your accountant. Then youre digging through a pile of paperwork looking for that one 1099. Then you knock over a glass of water, sending you into a tornado of receipts, paper towels, and swear words. THEN you have to take everything off of the desk to pat it all dry, and lift the inset glass pane (more like PAIN-in-the-...) because the water is now seeping into all the nooks and crannies. Then you put it all back together, you go to the bathroom, you finish watching the funny clip online, and then you post about it on Facebook. NOW I am going to choose a new album to listen to, and try to work my way back into the groove.
