"Furious Soweto residents have vowed to make the township ungovernable until the Premier of Gauteng addresses them on poor service delivery" m&g what is wrong with the ANC? why if they were strong on the ground would people have to go on a rampage to get the attention of the Premier. I know that popular dissatisfaction especially around housing has and will be with us for a long time and there is no quick fix. So am I right to think that some public representatives believe that popular outrage is something they can live with - as long as the police who are called in to deal with the protests, looting dont escalate issues. Things will eventually calm down.
