Furqan/Disa’s Adventures Episode 28: Plasma Frigate Infiltration (Post 6) We managed to sneak past those Plasma Grunts and get aboard the Plasma Frigate. Once we did, we ran to a safe dark hall where there are no Plasma Grunts around. Beheeyem: “Be… Be… (breathes heavily)” Jefferson: “I know all that mind control is hard on your brain. Get in your Poké Ball, and thank you, friend. (returns Beheeyem)” Furqan: “It sure was a miracle we got in.” Disa: “Yeah. A miracle your bad acting didn’t get us busted.” Furqan: “Hey, we got in. Isn’t that what matters?” Jefferson: “Shh! We managed to get in, but we’ve got to take out Zinzolin and this pirate ship. The question is… how?” Furqan: “Hm… Last time we encountered Zinzolin, he said something about a secret weapon. It was that secret weapon that allowed him to freeze Opelucid City.” (flashbacks) Zinzolin: “This ice was specially created by Team Plasma’s technology utilizing a secret weapon of ours. As long as we have this secret weapon and our Plasma Frigate, you’ll never be able to melt or break this ice!” Drayden: “Secret weapon? I wonder…” (end flashbacks) Jefferson: “A secret weapon? What do you think it could be?” Disa: “I remember Drayden saying something about a Dragon Pokémon with icy powers that Team Plasma might have.” (flashbacks) Drayden: “It’s a Pokémon that was bestowed with unparalleled power, and its body is constantly giving off a harsh, freezing wind. Unova’s top researchers, including Professor Juniper, theorize that, based on Team Plasma’s activities during the past few months, they might have gotten a hold of that power and are going to use it to try to take over Unova again.” Furqan and Disa: (gasps) (end flashbacks) Jefferson: “Drayden must be talking about Kyurem, the third Dragon Pokémon that was born at the same time as Reshiram and Zekrom.” Disa: “That’s right.” Furqan: “Wait a minute! Drayden also said Team Plasma can’t tap into Kyurem’s full potential without the DNA Splicers. (pulls out brooch)” Jefferson: “A brooch? Wait, don’t tell me that’s…” Furqan: “(sighs) It is. This brooch is the DNA Splicers. Drayden disguised it as a brooch and bestowed it to me for safekeeping.” Disa: “Team Plasma also stole a canister containing counterfeit DNA Splicers. They must have figured out that what they stole is fake by now.” Jefferson: “May I see that?” Furqan: “Sure. (hands brooch to Jefferson)” Jefferson: “(pulls out handheld computer, scans brooch with computer, reads data scanned) Hm… It’s just as I thought. The computer determined that the materials in this brooch date back to the same era as the materials used in building the Dragonspiral Tower. (puts away computer, hands brooch back to Furqan) I can see why it’s important to hide this ancient treasure from Team Plasma. But, now that we’re in their headquarters, it’s going to be very hard to do.” Furqan: “(puts away brooch) I know, but I made a promise to Drayden that I wouldn’t let him down. If we can shut down Kyurem, then we can shut down the Plasma Frigate, and that’ll help us stop Team Plasma.” Disa: “That’s easier said than done. Team Plasma must have a lot of power to take control of such a powerful Pokémon. How’re we going to shut down Kyurem?” Man: “You can’t. And, you won’t.” Jefferson: “What?
