Fusion Youth Radio alumnus and friend of the Jackson Center, Jerell Davis, spent his summer working as a reporter for the North Carolina Public Radio - WUNC Youth Radio Institute. He decided to tell a story that is close to home and interviewed his grandfather, Nate Davis, about his role in the community as the director of the Hargraves Center. Jerell was mentored by former Jackson Center associate director Alexander Stephens to produce the story, which features several voices that will be familiar to Northside residents. Tune in this Friday, August 16, to WUNC 91.5 FM or listen along live online at wunc.org. The story will air some time between 6:30 and 7 AM and then again between 8:30 and 9 AM.
