GATE 2014 results to be out on March 28 The GATE 2014 results are expected to be out on March 28, 2014 on their Online Application website. The results for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering are expected to be out by 10:00AM. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can access the website to login and access their results. GATE is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India for admission to Master’s degree programmes in Engineering/Technology/Architecture as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science. The GATE examination had been conducted during forenoon and afternoon on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between February 01, 2014 and March 02, 2014. GATE qualified candidates with Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy or Master degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications are eligible for Master/Doctoral programmes in Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science. To avail the scholarship, the candidate must additionally secure admission to such a postgraduate programme, as per the prevailing procedure of the admitting institution. GATE qualification, however, is not required for candidates with Master degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy who may be seeking scholarship/assistantship for relevant doctoral programmes. IIT Kharagpur is the organizing institution for the GATE 2014.
