At least 2 years must have been on supervisory or middle management level. CFE/CIA would be advantageous. A valid driver’s license. Successful candidate will be required to undergo a security vetting process. PERSONAL PROFILE : Understanding of anti-corruption and fraud prevention legal framework. Understanding of Public Finance Management Act and Treasury. Regulations, Practical knowledge of the mechanics of data analysis for Forensic Investigation and Fraud Prevention. Understanding of legal framework of Forensic Investigation and Fraud Prevention. Skills: Ability to priorities and interact effectively with people. High level of Accuracy, Assertiveness, Results driven, Effective Communication, Accountability, Initiative, Interviewing, Project management, Report writing. Conflict Management and Client focused approach. DUTIES: Conduct Fraud Prevention projects that are planned and scoped. Prepare reports containing substantiated findings. Ensure quality assurance and that factual evidence is gathered in an effective manner and supports Fraud Prevention. Ensure implementation of Provincial Anti-Corruption Strategy. Ensure achievement of relevant targets as set out in the Operational Plan. Manage Fraud Prevention teams assigned. PERSON PROFILE: Knowledge of and compliance with sound forensic principles and procedures for the acquisition of Electronically Stored Information. Hardware knowledge as well as knowledge of major operating systems and popular software packages. Ability to present and testify on digital evidence, when required. Practical knowledge of the mechanics of data analysis for Forensic Investigation and Fraud Prevention. Skills: The role requires good teamwork, report writing, communication and time management skills. The candidate should also have the ability to take ownership of tasks, be pro-active and resourceful, and display an awareness of anti-corruption legal framework. DUTIES: Primarily responsible for hands-on imaging and analysis of electronic evidence using international best practices and cutting edge forensic tools. Provide computer forensic services, data recovery and electronic discovery services to GPG Departments using methodologies that will stand the test for admissible evidence in a court of law. Develop and document procedures for Forensic auditable processes to enforce consistency and to meet the prescribed standards. Prepare reports on information found or located on computers hard drives, cellular phones and other memory devices and interpretation thereof.
