GEJ IS POPULAR NOW THAN 2011 Three things led to GEJ victory in 2011 and those factors will not strongly influence 2015. In 2011, GEJ was not popular, not tested enough and trusted, not in control of party structure, have no influence on state governors, had no single personal structure but contributed to his victory only through sympathy vote. 2011 WINNING FACTORS: * Opposition Factor; opposition was weak and divided so could not pose a threat to a non trusted and tested candidate of a strong structured PDP. *PDP Strong Structure; PDP was on ground, popular, financially stronger with strong presence in all the zones with massive grass-root support and this work to the advantage of GEJ. *Sympathy Vote; illegalities and deprivation that led to GEJ becoming Acting and finally president after the death of Yaradua attracted sympathy vote which reflected in the voting. GEJ today have lost that sympathy, is firmly in control of the party structure and very popular within and outside the party. More popular than any one that have ruled this country across the six geopolitical zones and will likely win come February 14, 2015. FACTORS THAT WILL WORK FOR GEJ: *Popularity Across the six zone; you like it or not, GEJ is the most popular candidate in this election. Highly respected and trusted by elder statesmen and majority of the educated class, have the blessings of the large numbers of the Emirs, Obas, Chiefs and other traditional leaders across all the zones, and this will be a strong advantage to GEJ. *Party Control; GEJ have at ease taken full control of the PDP structure with an improvement in its solidity. Cleanse the party of detractors, conduct a peaceful rancor free primaries that even the aggrieved losers dont point fingers at him but willingly want to support his candidature. This is the height of oneness and united PDP will ever arrive at and is this oneness that the oppositions should fear most. *Performance; this will be a key deciding factor in his victory. GEJ achievement cut across all zones, no propaganda can change that, this few weeks of campaign shall bring all the propaganda to nothing and the transformation song shall be sang in all party of this country, same song that will be in the lips of people while they vote.
