GEN. ELECTIONS / CREDIBLE LEADERSHIP: It is quite pathetic to note that a lot of peoples comments on the issue of the upcoming Gen Election(particularly the presidential election) are of much overbearance on the personalities of the candidates rather than being concerned with the process of searching for the person who may have the relevant credibility among them. And it is on this account that we are witnessing wanton destruction of vehicles and series of acts of thugeries since the beggining of political campaigns a few weeks past. But where is this taking us to in Nigeria, if at the end of the day we have a president through an election beclouded with sentiments on the platform of whims and caprices??? The election will come and go, but the products of the election (those elected in offices) will be left for us to taste. And for us to find the taste sweet or bitter is simply determined by our acts in the electoral process right from now! Therefore, we need to note that these presidential candidates and all others are precious Nigerians, what we need now is to search and pray that the credble ones among them will emerge as our leaders.
