GENX Baseball is an initiative by Indo-American Consultants to help the youth of India expand and grow in their personal development through Baseball. By focusing on youth to establish a life-long habit of personal development and growth, they will be better able to succeed in their future careers and personal lives. The fundamentals of Baseball are used and applied to life situations, so players can comprehend the parallels, and most importantly take repetitive action to ultimately establish successful habits. Indo-American Consultants have done numerous studies on the social needs and wants from the people of India. The findings were that most parents want their children to have a successful life, and they understand education is key. Also, they understand there must be a change in the current educational structure in order for individuals to succeed and be competitive in today’s changing International business world. Due to this need, GENX Baseball was created to provide an alternative to the traditional educational process, so students may learn from a different perspective. Albert Einstein Garry Abbs, founder of Indo-American Consultants and US Citizen, has a passion for helping people and has been a life-long player and fan of Baseball. In 2012, he coached the U15 Indian National Baseball Team to defeat the World Champions, Japan and Thailand #20 in the 7th Annual Asian Tournament. From this experience, he found the weaknesses of the Team and made them their strengths. He was able to find the way to give the individuals and Team the confidence to believe they could be Champions. The belief in themselves, is what Garry attributes to the success of the Team in the tournaments. GenX Baseball is all about the Youth, and only the Youth The focus is not on making money, but rather on developing the Youth and get them to ultimately succeed in their lives. GenX Baseball is not simply a business in the self-help industry, but it is focused on helping people see that things can be different from the current reality, if they are willing to change their ways and stray from the flock to be a Leader. To do this, courage and a belief in one’s self is vital, and GenX Baseball develops these characteristics. The Youth of India will be the future of the country. GenX Baseball will equip the Youth with the necessary skills in order to compete in the International World as they age and take Leadership. GenX encourages it’s players to “give to others” in the community by passing their knowledge of Baseball and other development techniques to others without any expectations or conditions. This formula of “train the trainer” promotes a “win-win” mentality which people will work together as a Team to accomplish much more than they can individually. This healthy approach helps players mature, at the same time puts “words into action” for others to follow their role modeling. The Opportunity America wants a professional Indian Baseball player. One reason comes from the business perspective; it will open a new market with substantial revenues. An Indian professional baseball player would receive support from Indian-Americans, as well as Indians in India. This support means that people will spend money on tickets, logo gear, cable TV, and everything that goes with it. Due to these revenue opportunities, the American professional leagues encourage Indians to develop and add structure to the game, so that the Indian youth may receive the necessary time, coaching, and resources in order to be competitive enough to step onto a professional American Baseball field. Unfortunately, the ability to form the necessary structure has not been widespread in the country. GenX Baseball intends on creating the structure and ultimately produce an Indian professional Baseball player in America! Average Salary of a professional Baseball player in the United States of America: The average American professional Baseball player earns approximately $3 million US Dollars per year, and this is not including perks such as business endorsements.
