GEORGE W. BRIGGS Notice| Condolences George W. Briggs Notice Briggs, George W. Neither a revved up engine nor the shiniest chrome wheels could compare to the gigantic heart and bright smile of George W. Briggs who was received by the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the age of 83 years after a courageous battle with leukemia. Devoted husband of the late Camille (nee Szalek). Loving father of Gregg, Holly (Randy) Buchwald and Nicole (Steven) Boemer. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gail Briggs. Further survived by other relatives and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Warren and Frieda, and infant brother Burton. George taught industrial arts in the Menomonee Falls School District for many years and then continued his involvement in the family business. He had a passion for restoring antique cars. George was an active member of the Ford V8 Club, NorthPoint Community Church, a patron of the Waukesha Civic Theatre, a benefactor of Carroll University, and enjoyed hosting friends and family at countless occasions. Visitation on Monday, November 17, at the FUNERAL HOME from 4PM-7PM. Additional visitation will be on Tues., Nov. 18, from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM, at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK-CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield.
