GNDU pay homage to Manna Dey Amritsar, October 24( )– A special function was organized by the Music Department of the Guru Nanak Dev University to pay tribute to renowned Singer, Padam Shree, Padam Bhushan, Shri Manna Dey who died recently. Dr. D.N. Johar, Former Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra preside over the function. Dr. Johar and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Head of the Department pay tribute to the departed soul and said that due to the death of great singer the loss to music community could not be fulfilled. The students and faculty members of Music Department sang the songs in the memory of Shri Manna Dey.
