GOD: THE ORIGINAL MAN! DO NOT BE A SLUGGARD! JESUS CHRIST KNEW HIS FATE! MAN TAKE CHARGE OF THE GARDEN!!! The sluggard says, There is a lion in the road! A lion is in the open square! As the door turns on its hinges, So does the sluggard on his bed. The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; He is weary of bringing it to his mouth again. The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can give a discreet answer. Proverbs 26:13-16 NASB The sluggard is quarrelsome, boastful and always very tired because of abuse to his body! He clearly does not value his life nor his body; always ready and open to and for a fight or brawl! Even to eat is problematic for him; and he thinks he can outwit anyone with his wisdom. He is unaware of his folly nor myopia! You will be wise not to be a sluggard. May God Help us not to walk in the way of the sluggard; and to value life in Jesus Name. Amen!!! The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words. I entreat your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise. When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies; I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments. Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget your law. At midnight I rise to praise you, because of your righteous rules. I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes! Psalm 119:57-64 ESV When I look into Your Holiness, gaze into Your Loveliness; when all things that surround become shadows in the Light of You o Lord! I worship You; for the reason I live is to worship You! You o Lord, like Your Word unto me are like a mirror. When I look into Your Eyes or Word, I see my true self and my filth; then I desire to be more like You. I therefore rise early to worship You and do likewise through the day and watches of the night! I seek out those who fear You to share with of all You have done for me. I see Your Hand all around me in my life. Father, Teach me Your Ways and Help me to walk in Your Ways in Jesus Name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen!!! Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life! Matthew 20:17-19 (NIVUK) Jesus Christ spoke prophetically of His fate to His disciples; although they didnt really understand and were not happy to hear His particular words in this regard! However, His Words came to pass and they saw, realised and believed that He IS who He claimed to be and who it IS written that He IS! He became the Atoning Sacrifice for our sins and iniquities; He is Alive forevermore! Amen! Lord do not let anything in life cause us to give up our faith in You in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (26) Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Genesis 1:26 God is the Original Man! He Made man in His Image and gave him dominion over His creation! Man is made to be in charge! But where is man today? O Lord Have mercy on us and restore man to his original position so that life may be more bearable for us in Jesus Name. Let all men everywhere lift up holy hands unto the Lord God Almighty; and pray, seeking the Lords Face. Perhaps the Lord Will Show us mercy and grace to overcome all our challenges and live a peaceful and godly life as God Purposed for mankind in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (28) Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. Genesis 1:28 Gods Instruction to man is to take charge! If only man stuck to Gods Instruction obediently, we wouldnt be in the mess were currently in right now! Right from the time of Adam and Eve when man fell from grace; the same way of that fall then still applies to mankind today! O Lord God Almighty, please Help us to simply obey Your Word and Instruction! All Your laws and statutes are for our good and beneficial to us for life. Help us in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (15) Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. Genesis 2:15 In the very beginning, God entrusted the care and charge over His creation to man. He gave man instructions as to what to and not to do; with the freedom to roam freely and peacefully. Man disobeyed God and we live with the consequences until the end of time. We have the sure word of God; even today, our hearts still stray. Rather than obey God, we desire the world so strongly. O Lord my Father, please give me a heart that would desire to honour and obey Your Word in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
